About ME
What is Christ Centered Social Work?
Christ-Centered Social Work is rooted in the belief that humanity was originally created by God for wholeness, purpose, relationship, and stewardship. As revealed in Genesis 1–2, men and women were created in the Imago Dei—the image of God—and designed to glorify Him through the flourishing of body, mind, and spirit, while faithfully stewarding their lives, relationships, gifts, and communities.
However, Genesis 3 reveals the brokenness that entered the human experience when humanity pursued its own way apart from God, leaving body, mind, and spirit fractured and out of balance. From a biblical perspective, the work of restoration is therefore not merely emotional, behavioral, relational, or material, but deeply spiritual as well. Christ-Centered Social Work recognizes that many of the struggles people face are connected to this deeper separation from God, others, and even themselves.
Within this framework, social work becomes a vehicle through which compassion, truth, advocacy, support, and healing can help guide people toward greater restoration and wholeness. While professional knowledge, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care remain deeply important, this vision ultimately recognizes that true and lasting restoration cannot come through human effort alone. Rather, it points to Jesus Christ as the One who fully reconciles, restores, and makes whole—inviting people into the fullness, unity, healing, and flourishing for which they were originally created.
My life has been a testimony of God’s faithfulness through both adversity and abundance. Born into brokenness and separated from my brother through foster care and adoption, I experienced early challenges that deeply shaped my compassion for others navigating pain, instability, and fractured family systems. Yet through every season, God continually placed people in my life who helped guide me toward Him—including my bio mother's fight as a single parent, my family's dedicated support, my brother’s unwavering faith, the patience of my wife, and the blessing of becoming a father after seasons of grief and waiting. Although I spent years searching for identity in worldly things, God patiently used both hardship and grace to draw me back to Him and establish my identity in Christ.
Marketing Mind. Social Work Heart. Christ-Centered Soul.
My professional background combines experience in clinical social work, business leadership, marketing, advocacy, and community engagement, allowing me to approach challenges from both a people-centered and systems-oriented perspective. Over the years, I have worked alongside individuals, families, healthcare teams, churches, and community organizations in navigating complex emotional, relational, and organizational needs. My experience includes direct community care, mental health support, mentoring adolescents and young adults transitioning out of foster care, leadership development, administrative coordination, and strengthening collaborative partnerships between churches, nonprofits, and healthcare providers. By integrating practical leadership experience with a Christ-centered and clinically informed approach to care, I strive to equip and support the servant leaders and organizations who dedicate themselves to helping others every day.
