From an early age, I sensed a calling to serve those experiencing brokenness. Over time, I came to recognize a gift the Lord had given me to help individuals see truths about themselves they may not recognize on their own, while also helping those around them gain greater clarity, understanding, and compassion. I first began living this out through mentoring adolescents and young adults transitioning out of the foster care system, walking alongside them as they navigated identity, purpose, stability, and independence.
During this same season of life, I worked in marketing and small business management, where I developed skills in communication, leadership, relationship-building, strategic problem solving, conflict resolution, and understanding people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. These experiences strengthened my ability to guide others through seasons of transition with both practical direction and compassionate support.
As the years progressed, serving others in a volunteer capacity alone began to feel insufficient. I felt increasingly compelled to dedicate my career fully to walking alongside individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult circumstances. This ultimately led me to pursue a professional journey in social work, allowing me to more fully devote my life, skills, and calling to supporting individuals, families, and communities in need.
Since entering the social work profession, I have served individuals navigating homelessness, reentry from the criminal justice system, challenges within the public school system, addiction recovery, grief and loss, relationship conflict, and higher levels of mental health treatment, including Residential Treatment Centers, Partial Hospitalization Programs, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. While much of my experience has centered around case management and care coordination, I have also provided counseling for individuals, families, and couples, as well as facilitated mental health education, life skills, and process groups.
Blending my background in business, leadership, and counseling allows me to support individuals not only emotionally and spiritually, but also practically through life’s transitions and challenges. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, strengths-focused, and grounded in a Biblical worldview that seeks to honor each person’s story while helping them move toward healing, clarity, and purpose. Whether someone is navigating stages of life, social system settings, career transitions, relationship struggles, or grief and loss, my desire is to walk alongside them with compassion, wisdom, and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Vision 2036
Restoring Purpose, Identity, and Hope for Men
A portion of proceeds from my social work services, as well as sponsorships of The Christopher and Daniel Show, will go toward supporting Vision 2036—a long-term initiative dedicated to addressing the high rates of suicide among men by restoring hope, identity, and purpose. Vision 2036 exists to serve men at risk of isolation and despair by building Christ-centered pathways to healing through eternal hope in Christ, grounding in the truth of Scripture, and authentic brotherhood that strengthens men in their roles as providers, protectors, and faithful stewards within their families and communities.
