4 Traits of a Trustworthy Leader

COMPETENCE Visualize your goal and think about your goal. What have you seen? What have you felt? What have you touched? These are the experiences that form your perspective. Depending on just your own experiences will limit your ability to reach your goal. The trustworthy leader never stops building their experiences and expanding their perspective on the world. INTEGRITY As your perspective grows, you establish beliefs and values. Integrity means that you do not allow obstacles and other outside influences to move you away from your beliefs and values, and ultimately away from the path that is moving you towards your goal. SECURITY Along the way, you are going to encounter people who are on the same path as you, or are trying to get on the same path as you. A trustworthy leader is not threatened by these people, and is open to receiving guidance from these people and providing guidance to these people. Someone who is secure in themselves will look for opportunities to influence others and to be influenced by others. AUTHENTICITY The people who are still in line with you as you move towards your goal are those who are authentic. Those who do not have security, integrity, and competence will eventually become burnt out by pursuing a particular goal.
